ESPN S Chris Broussard says hip hop must learn to empower black men not hurt them
Date Posted: Saturday, January 31st, 2015
ESPN’s Chris Broussard is a staple in American media and one of the journalistic icons of our time. He’s been a leading sports reporter for the New York Times and many other major media outlets. But Chris also has a strong interest in the strength and preservation of African American males.

A devout Christian, Broussard has been an advocate for black men seeking to use the merits of a higher power to find their truest destiny. More generally, he feels that black men are meant to be victors, not victims, and is doing all he can to help with the cause.

In this podcast, Chris talks about how black men are often influenced by both sports and hip-hop. He says that this influence can be very good under the right circumstances, but harmful if this power goes unchecked.
