During his daily coronavirus briefing, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo deflected Trump’s most recent criticism by explaining that New York state was relying on the president’s own projections and numbers Cuomo also responded to Trump’s Thursday news conference on a reopening plan, saying, “I don’t need the president of the United States to read the Constitution for me.”
