Democrats scored a significant victory for the country when they regained control of the House. We’ve already seen a change in the political dynamic in D.C. as a result. But, the Democrats lost ground in the Senate, making it more difficult to stop confirmations of Trump nominees to his administration and, even, more importantly, the judiciary. We can only hope that Trump doesn't get another chance to nominate another Supreme Court Justice before the 2020 election when Democrats will have another chance to win the majority in the Senate.
