In a disgusting display of cowardliness, the video below shows Republican lawmakers meeting with, and practically begging, Russian officials for an opportunity to improve relations between the two countries. There was no mention of Russian interference in the 2016 election or any indication that it would be a topic of discussion during their visit. America is truly entering a dark era of political leadership when a criminal act on the level of election interference is not a topic of discussion when meeting with the perpetrators of the act.
