A grandmother of six children struggles to get a visa to her new husband, who is less than 45 years old and lives 4,000 miles away. The two met for the first time on their wedding day.

Angela Nwachukwu, aged 72, married her husband CJ Nwachukwu in April 2015, just three months after becoming used with Facebook.

The retired taxi driver from Weymouth says she could not resist her 27-year-old husband from Nigeria when she began talking to him, and she felt dismayed when their visa applications were rejected.

She says she has so far spent £ 20,000 on him for the costs of the lawyers in order to have his  visa and the flights she made to visit him. She told Sun that she stayed alone after her marriage broke out, six months before becoming used with the internet.

One day she found a message and a request for friendship from Nwachukwu and began chatting online with him.
She said: “He was so handsome, with big brown eyes and a perfect body.”

“We talked for hours about our families and our hobbies. It was as if we had known each other for years. Before I get it right, we started to exchange messages daily. ”

“Despite our huge age gap, we were doing well. I could not control it and started to develop feelings about him. I tried to stop myself, but I could not resist him. ”

 

The couple married in Lagos, Nigeria, and has since been found twice. Nwachukwu has not yet issued a tourist visa to her husband after all her applications have been rejected. Despite the criticisms of the world, Nwachukwu insists that her marriage is not a scam because she has no money and was not in agreement with it at first. Now she hopes she will be able to obtain a student visa to bring him close to her.
