Houston Pastor Caught Up In Sex Tape Scandal

Houston Pastor Caught Up In Sex Tape Scandal
Date Posted: Sunday, January 1st, 2017

Rev. Hosea Stubblefield of Salem Baptist Church in Houston, Texas has found himself on the defensive after he was allegedly caught making s*x tapes and showing them to members of his congregation. His actions has angered many of his congregants, who are now rallying for his resignation and expulsion from the church.

Even though the pastor has admitted to creating the s*x tapes, he has accused the women who released them of blackmailing him. This is such a serious accusation against Stubblefield, especially because it’s coming to the fore after a Houston woman, who claimed to have dated the 32-year-old divorced pastor, took to the Internet to lay bare the pastor’s evil acts. The woman uploaded on her blog three illicit videos showing the pastor getting involved in s*xual acts with different women.

The head Deacon and Trustee of the church, Craig Davis, learned of the videos. Acknowledging seeing the videos, he said: “We’ve actually seen the video and verified it is Stubblefield with members of the congregation, but the video is too explicit to show.”

The Deacon was quite disappointed in the pastor, especially being that he had worked with him and trusted that he was an upright man of God.

“Disgusting, I trusted and believed. I had been working with him for over a year before he became our pastor,” said Davis. “I was sitting in different pastor sermons and it was just disgusting knowing I was betrayed.”

Davis said he had earlier this month asked the pastor to leave but the pastor refused. According to Davis, Stubblefield admitted last Sunday that he indeed made the videos, but insisted it’s something he did two years ago.

Lecobeun Lewis, a member of Salem Baptist Church, learned of the unfortunate videos and said he’ll never fellowship at the church as long as pastor Stubblefield has not been stripped of his pastoral roles and subsequently kicked out.

However, the pastor has remained adamant that he won’t be leaving his pastorate role, explaining that by the time he was making the videos, he hadn’t risen to his current position in the church. Stubblefield can’t come to terms with the fact that the church leadership wants him out, having been a staunch member whose only ill was two years ago, while he was serving in a lower capacity.

Whether the church leadership goes ahead and kicks him out remains to be seen.
