The world of adult entertainment was rocked by allegations by a major adult film star. Nikki Benz is featured on the adult website Brazzers and is a top brand name. When it comes to sex, Benz does it all on screen, including anal, lesbian, interracial and other erotic acts. But she claims when she was filming a scene for Brazzers, the film’s director, Tony T, suddenly became part of the scene. Benz stated recently that the director stomped on her head and started to violently choke her. Benz says that she begged him to “cut” and he said “no,” adding that she was “not ok with this,” as he continued his attack.

She took to Twitter recently and posted the following after the incident:

“In my 13 years in porn, this was the first time I went into shock on set & cried. #Brazzers”

“On set bullying, rape, & violence should never happen. #NoMeansNo on camera, off camera. Just NO!”

When one user asked her why she accepted to film a rape scene, she responded, “It was not supposed to be a rape scene.”

The production company Brazzers issued the following statement in response to Benz’s allegations. It reads in part, “We do not produce content ourselves but commission producers to do so on our behalf. We understand that this particular scene was an unscripted scene with the artistic direction left open to the producer’s discretion.”

The lackluster statement was later pulled and the company fired the director and is no longer using that production company. Other female porn stars with Brazzers support Benz’s allegations against Tony T, and have stated that after shooting brutal sex scenes they “hurt everywhere.” The reports of rape on the sets of porn shoots are nothing new. Many women have stated that they found themselves performing sex acts that were not agreed to and were forced into. Prime examples are a series of porn websites that feature unsuspecting actresses suddenly anally penetrated without their consent. The camera pans in on the face of the woman as she reacts in pain. Sometimes, the actresses are given extra money after the act and are often coerced to remain silent.

For Nikki Benz, her allegations add another topic to discussions about sexual consent when it comes to porn actors and actresses. Benz tweeted, “#NoMeansNo #CutMeansCut and me telling you I’m not ok with any of this should be taken seriously. I should not be beat down.”
