Kanye To Remain Hospitalized

Kanye To Remain Hospitalized
Date Posted: Monday, November 28th, 2016

Kanye West will not be released from the hospital on Monday, November 28, as previously planned, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

"The doctors said he's in no shape to leave yet," the insider tells Us. "Kim argued he could recover at home, but the doctors just don't think he is ready. He still needs more time." (TMZ was first to report he'd be staying.)

According to the source, the "Fade" rapper, 39, wanted to leave the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Monday, but doctors told him and wife Kim Kardashian that he needs to stay longer. "They didn't tell him when yet, but they said they will keep monitoring him day by day," the insider adds. Another source adds that they're "taking it one day at a time."

As previously reported, West was admitted to the hospital after an incident at his personal trainer's home in Los Angeles on November 21. The health scare, which insiders previously told Us was due to "exhaustion" and "sleep deprivation," came hours after he canceled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo Tour.

Kardashian has been with him ever since. "Kim has been amazing," a source close to the rapper previously told Us. "She knew he couldn't keep going the way he was. She has been by his side through all of this, helping to feed him and lying by his side."

Another insider said the hospitalization was triggered by the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star's terrifying October 3 Paris robbery. "It did a number on him as much as Kim," the source said. "The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn't sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.
