Ice Cube Puts Trump In His Place

Ice Cube Puts Trump In His Place
Date Posted: Sunday, August 28th, 2016

For the second time in a few days, Ice Cube has had to shut down false rumors floating around on the Internet. This morning, Cube took to Twitter to call out Donald Trump after seeing his likeness sprawled on an ad in support of the presidential hopeful.

In the ad, which is clearly photoshopped, the N.W.A member stands holding his jacket open while wearing a shirt that reads, “Trump: Make America Great Again.” The endorsement falsely claims “Rapper-Actor Ice Cube Endorses Trump” and even has a quote that is supposed to come from the “No Vaseline” rapper. “I think he’s gonna do anything he can to help poor people that are struggling,” the fake statement says.

Cube, who wants no parts of being associated with the Donald, posted on Twitter, “Stealing endorsements is not how you become the president of the United States, homie. Leave my name out ya mouth.”

Earlier this week, the West Coast legend had to shoot down rumors that a fourth and final Friday movie was on the way starring Chris Tucker, DJ Young Fly, Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, Oshea Jackson Jr., Nia Long and Katt Williams.

People have hinted at a new Friday movie for years, but the rumor started to pick up major traction after a picture of the purported movie poster started to circulate online. It turns out the picture originated from a fake Facebook account. “This is fake,” Cube wrote. “My son doesn’t have a Facebook account. Can’t mess with a classic.”
