Joe Jackson Blind After Birthday Party Incident

Joe Jackson Blind After Birthday Party Incident
Date Posted: Wednesday, July 29th, 2015
Michael Jackson’s father Joe has been reportedly left blind after suffering from a stroke while attending his birthday party in Brazil on Sunday.

The same talent manager who guided his own children through a very successful career in showbiz as ‘The Jackson 5’, was taken to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo after he woke up feeling dizzy and discovered that he was completely blind.

It is currently unknown as to whether Joe, who turned 87 on Sunday, will only be temporarily without his eye sight or if it is permanently gone.

A family source told TMZ that doctors are currently running tests to discover what exactly took place to cause him to lose his sight.

They are also trying to decide whether he is well enough to be flown back to the states for any further treatment. Joe also suffers from diabetes and they are not yet sure as to whether this played a factor in his birthday incident.

He was pictured just this past Friday with a singer by the name of Angelina Stilitti, the two were seen having dinner at a local restaurant in Sao Paulo.

He was allegedly planning to officially celebrate his birthday on Sunday evening with a bash that ranked up to about $200,000, according to his website which said, “Join me on the 26th of July to celebrate 87 full years on earth. The greatest adventure you can take on this world, is to live your life and enjoy the ride.”

Joe didn’t appear to be joined by any of his famous children, but he did recently make a cameo in his daughter Janet’s new music video, ‘No Sleeep.’
